Olympia smiled and laughed as she listened to him say how his father pretty much planned their wedding. She remained silent for a few moments as she looked down, seeing his hand on her thigh. She didn't say anything as her eyes moved back to the scenery around them. "Life is unpredictable, which keeps things exciting." Olympia said with a shrug of her shoulders as she looked around. "What ever happened to your father?" Olympia asked as she continued to look out at the landscape, seeing some mountains in the distance. She hoped that the palace was close to the water, so she could look out over it during the morning. It was probably the most relaxing time on Crete.

Whenever she spoke of his father he took a deep breath. He was not a very emotional person, meaning he did not cry about very many things, or even act as if they affected him. However, this was one of those things that affected him. However, he acted as if it did not, or tried his best to do so. He knew very well that she could easily see right through him, but that did not bother him all that much. " He simply died of old age, or so they tell me. " He said with a sigh as his hand gripped her thigh just a bit whenever he spoke, remembering his father who he had loved very much and missed dearly.

Olympia listened to him carefully. She could tell that it was something he didn't like to talk about and she knew that it wasn't good. She listened to him say that he died of old age, or so that is what they tell him. She felt his hand grip her thing softly, but she tried to ignore it. "And what does your heart tell you that happened?" Olympia asked softly, lifting her head from his back. She knew, just by his tone, that he did not believe that his father simply died of old age. From what Olympia saw, his father was not very old when they were children. But, she knew that being away fro almost ten years, many things could have happened that could have lead to his death.

Ambrose shook his head as his slid his hand away from her thigh to take the reigns as he ran his other hand through his hair as he thought about an answer to her question. " Well, my father was not that old. I believe, that, perhaps he was poisoned and thus died. There were many people who envied him and wished for him to die because of the influence that he possessed and because they desired the land and because he would not trade the horse secrets that had kept our horses the best in the world for centuries. " He said with another sigh as he looked over his shoulder at herand smiled once again attempting to stay happy

Olympia felt his hand move away from her thigh as he began to speak. It was a possibility that he was poisoned, since he was very popular among the upper class. She was curious as to who would have poisoned him, but it was not for sure that he was poisoned at all. Olympia looked back at him and she smiled warmly back. "That is a possibility, but then again there are other things in the world. Such as the plague and other diseases. But, lets not talk about that anymore." Olympia said softly as she looked around. "So, does the palace have a view of any body of water? In Macedonia, you can look out over lake that is outside of Macedon, the capital. It is a great relaxer in the morning hours, when it is sunny of course." Olympia said, the same warm smile on her face.

He smiled whenever she spoke of not having to speak of his father anymore. He found that to be a good thing, after all it was a touchy subject to him. " Well, actually there is. This is of course an island. Therefore, there is a view of the ocean everywhere you go. " He said with a smile as he knew very well that she would like the palace. It was rather beautiful and it had been recently constructed so there were no signs of wear and tare. " I believe you shall like the palace, but, as i said, we shall have to camp under the stars like we used to do. " He said with another smile, remembering those days.

"Great. It is a excellent day to start the day." Olympia said with a smile on her face as she looked around. The palace at Macedonia was still sort of under contruction, since it used to be a villa but is not being modified to a palace. "Just like old times, huh?" Olympia said with a small laugh. Hopefully there would be no clouds, so they would be able to see the stars. But, judging from the weather, it looks like their chances of having a clear sky were pretty good. She let out a sigh as she stretched her arms. "Having fun being in control of the horse?" Olympia asked, a smile on her face.

He smiled as he heard her mention their childhood once again and he nodded, knowing full well what they had done whenever they were children. Whenever she was sixteen, as was he, she was of course the first kiss that he had ever received and he had always saved a place in his heart for her because of that simplicity. He smiled as he looked up at the sky, the sun already beginning to sink in the sky. He took a deep breath and continued to ride as she spoke of him controlling the horse. " I am always in control of the horse now. " He said with a smile as his hand returned to her thigh as they rode.

Olympia smiled as she looked around again at the landscape. She could see the sun sinking in the west, the sky turning a beautiful orange color. She closed her eyes for a moment as she felt a breeze, colder then the last one. She knew that night was rapidly approaching, and she wondered when Ambrose would stop. "Oh really?" Olympia said with a grin as she moved the heel of her foot, hitting the horse gently, making it run forward. "I still think I am the one if charge, whether you like it or not, Ambrose." Olympia said with a laugh as she looked around. "The sun is about to set. If we are to make camp, it is best to do it before there is not light left." Olympia stated, a small grin on her face.

Ambrose held the reigns of the horse steady as she spurred the horse. He smiled as he pulled the horse to a halt. They had been riding for a good ten miles or so and this would be as good a place as any. Open field, under the stars. He nodded as he swung his leg and slid of the side of the horse. He then helped her down as he spoke to the horse, telling it to stay in Greek and the horse was trained well enough to where it would not even move. " Camp hu.." He said as he opened a bag that the horse carried and pulled forth three logs. " Here, clear away some of that dry grass so that we do not start a field fire. " He said with a smile

Olympia watched him as he stopped the horse, then slid off it. She smiled when he helped her down, like the gentlemen he was. She nodded as she began to clear away some of the dry grass, making it so they could make a comfortable camp. Olympia glanced around for a few moments as she stood there. She closed her eyes for a second before she looked up at the stars. The wind blew her dress gently as she breathed in the cool night air. "I am glad that it is a good night to look at the stars." Olympia said as she turned her head to look at Ambrose, a smile on her face.

He nodded for as she mentioned the stars he glanced up at the sky and nodded before looking back at her. " Indeed it is. The gods have prepared a perfect night for us both. " He said as he knelt down next to where he had placed the longs in an upright position before taking some of the dry grass and placing it under the logs. He took forth the flint and stone and began to strike it, and in a moment he had a small, warm blaze going. He smiled over at her and nodded. " I have created fire. ' He said with a laugh as he came and sat next to her, warming his hands against the fire as the night began to blow gusts of cold wind towards them.

Olympia watched him as he set up the camp. She laughed as well at his comment as she walked towards the fire, sitting next to it. She extended her legs out in front of her and she crossed them, her hands moving behind her so she was in a comfortable position to view the stars. She let out a sigh as she laid down on the grass, her eyes staying on the stars. She began to think about what she was going to do during the night. There was a stream nearby and she planned on washing herself, so she would at least be clean. The mountain water was as clean as it gets, so there is no need to worry about getting sick. "Ever wonder how many stars there are? I mean, they are all so tiny that when I start counting, I get lost." Olympia said, letting out a light laugh.

He smiled as he watched her lay back. His eyes ran over her gorgeous figure and he couldn't help but give another smile as he brushed the thought aside and lay next to her looking up at the stars. He shook his head whenever he asked if he counted. " No, i do not count anymore. I believe that there are more stars than we can count.." he said with a smile. " So, therefore, there is no need to try and count them. " He said as he propped himself up on his elbow and gazed over at her as she stared up at the sky. The sun had just sunk below the earth and there was still a slight red glow that reflected off of her skin and it caused her to look extremely radiant.

"I suppose that is a good theory." Olympia said as she continued to look at the stars. Although she wasn't looking at him, she could feel his gaze on her. She closed her eyes for a moment before she turned on her side, looking at him. She propped herself up on a elbow, her hand on her cheek as she looked at him. "Alright, something is up." Olympia said as she looked at him. "You seem to feel a little weird around me and when I am not looking, you are watching me. You never did this when we were kids, or at least not to my knowledge, but why do you watch me?" Olympia asked with a curious look on her face.
