Ambrose listened as she spoke of her country not yet being free. That was of course always going to be a problem. The Spartans were fierce warriors and they would not likely relinquish one of their kingdoms. He sighed whenever she mentioned whether or not he had a wife and child. " Well , I am married, however, see has become very distant over time and i have not spend any time with her, let alone had the chance to produce a heir in over a year. " he said with a shake of his head as that of course was hard on him since he was a man and needed that sort of attention.

Olympia heard him sigh and she listened to him. She could tell there was a problem with the relationship, but she was not going to say anything about it. "I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps things may turn out for the better." Olympia said as she put her hand on his arm gently, in a comforting way. "Have you asked her about have another child?" Olympia asked, a warm smile on her face. She hoped that things did work out, because it didn't seem like he was happy at the moment with her. "Well, I hope things do work out. I don't have a husband, although many men have tried to get my attention and since my father died, I get to choose who I marry. Almost all of them desire power and they were almost desperate. It was sort of pathetic." Olympia said, a small laugh escaping her lips.

Ambrose couldn't help but laugh whenever she did. It was rather sad of course. Most men would try such a stunt, but after all, he knew that she was a very smart girl and had a very good head on her shoulders. " I have spoken with her, but, as i said, things are rather difficult whenever she know longer desires to sleep in my bed. " He said with a sigh as he shook his head once again. " It is rather frustrating as i am sure you can imagine. " He said with a shake of his head. " Once you get accustom to certain activity, you normally don't want to let it go. " He said with a sigh.

Olympia nodded as she listened to him. "Yes, I suppose that is bad." Olympia said softly as she watched him shake his head. She could tell, even though he said it, that he was frustrated with the whole thing. She didn't really know what to say to comfort him, at this point. "Perhaps, it is better to move on. It may be hard, but in the end you will find the one that you truly love." Olympia said, a comforting smile on her face. She moved in and gave him a comforting hug. "I am sure that you will get over it. You always were strong." Olympia said as she pulled away from him, her eyes going to his as she smiled warmly.

He nodded, trying to snap out of the apparent funk that he had gotten himself into. He smiled once again as she hugged him before she pulled back. He smiled as he kissed the top of her hand gently. " Well it is truly good to see you. " He said with another smile. " I have missed you greatly. Perhaps, since you shall be staying here that you shall be able to assist me in ruling this country. I do not have that much experience, after all, i am a horse farmer. What do i know about rulership? " He asked with another smile

Olympia's cheeks turned a slight shade of pink when he kissed the top of her hand. "It is good to see you too. I have missed you as well, which is one of the reasons I came here, besides fleeing for my life. I wanted to see you again." Olympia said as she looked at him. She nodded as he asked is she could help him rule while she was here. "Of course I will, but we will need to go to the palace." Olympia said with a wink as she walked to the door, opening it as she leaned against the frame, looking at him. "Don't tell me there is no palace built, otherwise we will have a long ways to go." Olympia teased. Of course she knew there was a palace, but she would never miss a chance to tease and embarrass Ambrose.

Ambrose knew that she was playing with him and he was more than willing to return the favor. " Palace? What palace? ' He asked, keeping his face straight acting truly like he had no palace what so ever before his smile widened and he shook his head. "Of course we shall go to the palace right away. " He said as he walked past her and took her hand and began to lead her through the streets again. He looked back at her and smiled. " We are a days journey from the palace, so i hope you don't mind camping on the countryside. " He said with another smile as he led her to the stable where his horse was already saddled.

(Omg, something is wrong with Imagecave. Whenever I click on the picture, it doesn't show it. I guess I will see if it is changed later today. Can you see the pictures?)
Olympia smiled when he took her hand and began to lead her through the streets. "Just like old times, huh?" Olympia said with a smile as he led her to the stable. "No, I don't mind. It will be interesting, that is for sure." Olympia said as she pet his horse gently. "Are we only taking one horse?" Olympia asked, a curious look on her face. They had always shared a horse when they were little, but this was different. They were both much older now and she didn't know how he felt about her. She didn't want to interfere with his relationship with his wife, because Hera would get angry and curse her for doing so.

He looked around whenever she mentioned that there was only one horse. She was correct. He scratched his head and shrugged. " Well, i hadn't thought that would be a problem.." He said with a smile. " Although, if you would like i could call a stable boy and he could saddle you up a new horse.." He said as he crossed his arms, leaning against the sturdy body of the animal that was next to him. He didn't mind at all if she rode on the same horse as him. Sure he was married, but, it was a strange relationship, one that was hardly a relationship anymore. If the gods could have affairs with humans and not be condemned, then so could he.
(( And no i can't see your banner or picture. ))

(Well, I fixed it. I can see the images now, yay!)
Olympia smiled as she listened to him. She shrugged her shoulders as she watched him. "It really doesn't matter. We used to do it when we were children. I don't see anything wrong with it now." Olympia as she walked to the side of the horse, pulling herself gracefully from the ground and onto the horse. She rubbed it's mane softly as she turned her head to look at Ambrose, her brown eyes staying on him. She could tell that he was troubled by this whole marriage thing and she didn't know really what to say to him about that, since she has never been married. When they were alone, she would have to ask him what he felt about her, since she has been curious ever since they were children. She moved her hands and she tied her hair into a neat bun, putting a pin in it to keep it in place. "There, now my hair won't whip you in the eyes." Olympia said, flashing a grin down at him.

Ambrose rose an eyebrow whenever she hoped onto the horse before him. Well he was certainly not going to let her be the one in control. No, she would sit behind him, he was a big boy now. He smiled and swung himself onto the horse, scooting her back so that he was in front. " O no, i am not being on the back. " He said with a smile as he took her hands and placed them on his waist. " Whenever you were bigger you got to ride in the front, but i am bigger now so its my turn. " He said with a laugh as he spurred the horse forward and it began to trod forth from the stable, baring both of them with it.

Olympia smirked at him as he scooted her back. She would usually ride in front, since she was taller then him, but now he was older and much more taller then she was. She smiled when she put her hands on his waist, just like he would do to her when they were younger. "I suppose that is fair enough." Olympia said when he spurred the horse forward. Olympia gripped tighter onto his waist, so she wouldn't fall backwards off of the horse and onto the ground. She glanced around as they rode into the countryside. Crete was so beautiful, she had almost forgotten how beautiful it was. She was glad that she had a chance to come back to this land, but she knew that she would eventually have to go back to her people. "I had forgotten how beautiful the countryside is." Olympia said softly as she looked around.

The smiled as he heard her speak of the countryside. He nodded before he answered, the horse now slowing to a trot, not having any reason to go quickly, after all, they were in no hurry. " Well, you will get to see a good deal of this country once again since you are going to be staying for a while. " He said with a smile as he looked over his shoulder at her, gripping the reigns in one hand as his other drifted behind him and ran up and down her leg gently. " Its good to have you back. " He said with another smile as he looked across the countryside once again as he took in a deep breath before releasing

Olympia smiled as she listened to him, but when she felt his hand on her leg, she stiffened for a moment. After a few seconds, she relaxed again as she looked around. "Yes and it is good to see you again." Olympia said softly as she looked around them. It certainly was beautiful, seeing all of the flowers and grasses again. Macedonia did sort of have the same plants, but there was a small difference that probably only she would notice. She laid her head on his back, like she would sometimes do as a child. "It's weird, you know? Seeing each other after so long. Just to let you know, my father adored you, since you were almost like the son he never had. I wished you could have come, but sometimes we don't always get what we wish for." Olympia said, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

He laughed as he heard her speak of her father adoring him. He felt her head on his back and he closed his eyes for a moment, relaxing to his utmost point with her arms wrapped around him and her head resting on his back. " Well, that doesn't surprise me since my father felt the same about you. He had pretty much arranged our wedding before you left. " He said with another smile as his hand rested on her thigh gently as the horse continued to trot forward. " But, as you say, all things do not happen the way we desire them to and they might not make sense at the time, but, that is what makes life worth living. You get to see how your life unfolds. " He said with a nod.
