After the wedding, Lucius had quickly been in Rome to remove his things and place them in his new home who now was in Etrusca. There he would stay married with Julia and rule the people fair and kind, where no one could stop his plans for future. On horses Lucius and Julia entered the Etruscan capital, along guards that came behind. As he had stayed in Rome, spies from the senate had been watching him. They did not trust him anymore, as great respect and loyalty he had gained by the people around. As he and his followers entered and rode toward the palace, the citizens greeted them welcome.
When they finally arrived the steps before the palace, the guards opened the door for their king to enter. With a kind look upon Octavia, Lucius dismounted the horse he sat upon and went to her."Welcome to Etrusca, my kingdom, my land."He spoke with a smile, as glad he was to have the queen of Celtibaria on visit. She was highly respected among her people, but the same respect kind of respect he as well tried to give. After the words was spoken, he offered to link their arms so they together could enter.

Octavia smiled when they arrived at the palace. She got off her horse and she listened to him. "It feels good to be a much safer place." Octavia said as she linked arms with him. Octavia was worried about what was going to happen to the Celtic people. Right now, they were all fighting amongst each other. The only two nations that were not were the Gaels and the Celtiberians. She did not know the Gaels intentions, but she knew that Terion would make the right decision for her people.
Once inside, Octavia looked at Lucius. "If you do intend on taking care of the senate, you will have to gain more power then them. Get the people to like you, ignore what the senate orders you to do. If you are to be free, you will not take orders from over-weight politicians." Octavia said, with a smile on her face.

"Oh that is already being taken care of, the people love me and each day that passes by the senate losses control. Which is why they are not able to send spies to my province, everyone here helps me watching in case intruders step in. Its just a matter of time, before people will shout to be liberated. "Lucius spoke with a smile as gentle he watched her, she was amazing in the way she looked. Although a whole another culture she had, but still somehow similar. The cloths she had on fascinated him, as different they were from any other female cloths he had seen before. However there was some similarities, probably by the things Rome had given Celtibaria the past months and weeks.
As they both were now inside, the servants who went around watched what were happening. The guards stood proud, as well they guarded their leader. Words about Lucius arrival, had been sent to Julia who was told to be resting in the chamber not far away. At least in peace they now would stay, the senate had none control about how Etrusca developed as Lucius and Julia were its king and queen. In a kind way, Lucius moved further into the palace as he could see his throne standing not far from where they stood. He would not sit down in the moment, but more he wished to speak with the Celtibarian queen.

Octavia smiled as she listened to him. "Your people will soon have the freedom they want, I am sure of it." Octavia said. She continued to follow him as they walked deeper into the palace. She noticed that he did not make a move towards his throne, which made her respect him even more. He clearly wanted to hear what was happenin in Celtiberia, since alot of things were begging to happen. She slipped her arm out of his and she walked to one of the windows, looking out it as she thought.
"Celtiberia may be in danger. Not from the Carthaginians, but another foe. As I am sure you already know, the Britons attacked and took the country of Gaul. Cadeyrn, the King of Briton, is a fool. I went to Gaul, to try and convince him to give Gaul back to the rightful king. Let's just say that the meeting didn't go as planned and tensions between Briton and Celtiberia are at a boiling point. I feel that he may try to do something, since he has already threatened me. My borders, at the moment, are safe and there is no movement along them. Hopefully it will remain that way, but I don't know what to do. For once, I don't know what to do. Any ideas?" Octavia asked, turning to face him.

When Octavia spoke and believed the Roman people would soon meet new leadership, it made Lucius feel better as it showed she believed in his plans. However as she moved to look out of the window not far away from where they stood, he could not remove his eyes from her elegant steps across the floor. Her long dress touched the ground with a smooth touch, as well the colors of her dress showed the might she possessed. It was a sight that would make any man amazed, although Lucius stood calm as a wife he had to think of.
As she mentioned the threats that lingered around, he more got interested in what they were about. Closer he approached, moving to stand beside her and listen further to the things she spoke. However in return, he suggested."Often when a snake moves it is best to stay silent, but when the strike comes it is better to act then doing nothing. Perhaps the best option for now is to wait and see, prepare and be ready in case an invasion comes. I am sure your mountains watches well over your land in north, maybe some better reinforcement should be made there. An attack on allied land, is as well an attack on Roman land. If trouble comes, we will be close if aid is needed."Lucius spoke, wanting to give help if asked. As they watched out the window, the hand of his slowly started to move. With a comforting look, he touched her hand. Wanting to show he cared for her, as well the land she lived in. If Celtibaria fell it would not only make Octavia homeless, but also it would make things difficult for Rome.

Octavia turned to look back out the window as he spoke. He was right, after all. It would be best to wait and see what the other tribe would do. Hopefully it would not come to war, but nothing could be certain. She does not want to fight an enemy on two fronts, both surrounding her nation. The mountains to the north would slow the enemy down and as long as they kept the mountain passes, there was no way for them to get into her nation. Her scouts report that there was no movement along the border, but one can never be sure. It was a good thing that the mountains also ran along the northern coast of Celtiberia, that way she would not have to worry about a sea invasion.
Octavia turned her head to look at him when he touched her hand. "Thank you, Lucius. I hope that it does not come to war, but it is good to know that you will help us if they do invade." Octavia said as she looked out the window and over the landscape. "Everything seems to be peaceful and hopefully it remains that way." Octavia said as she turned to face him. "But let's not talk about war. This is a time of celebration for you. I mean, your married now. Are there any children on the way?" Octavia asked, not knowing if there was a child or not.

As Octavia turned to look at him when his hand moved to touch her, he could see she was surprised by the sudden movement. Still he listened to what she replied, but curious in what she though about him. However with a deep look into her eyes, he answered as her hand got linked with his. "Yes well in the matter of fact there is, my wife is pregnant and the child is on the way. It wont be long now..."Lucius said kindly, but was not happy about it. The child wasn't truly his, but belonged to Julia`s ex husband. Something he and his wife had agreed to keep secret, making others believe it was their child and no one else. If the people knew about it, then more dangerous it would be for Lucius and the Roman Republic. Which was why he would do everything to keep it hidden, no matter what.
With a short look in another direction, Lucius sonly turned back to watch Octavia. His thoughts had been elsewhere, but still close they stood. The way she looked at him made him feel different inside, thought married he was. As they held each other hands close to one another, he slowly removed it when he figured what was to happen."And what about you, have you found someone your heart desire?"Lucius curiously asked, as he tried to figure how her private life was back in Celtibaria.

Octavia smiled when he said that there was a child on the way, but she could tell from looking into his eyes that something was wrong. "That is great, but I can tell that something is wrong. I know that it is not my place, but you know you can tell me these things, right?" Octavia said as she looked at him. She didn't want to push herself into his private life, so if he did not want to tell her what was wrong, she was ok with that. She just wanted him to be happy about this ocassion, but something made her think otherwise.
Octavia listened to him and she smiled slightly. "No, there is no one. Right now, my people are the only ones close to my heart. I am a Queen of my people and I try to make them understand the changes we are going threw." Octavia said, with a smile on her face. She only cared about her people and their well being.

"Well I rather not speak about what bothers me as I have promised to keep it hidden, but I am glad to hear your heart stay close to your people. It shows great fortune that you care more about them then anyone else, you truly are honorable queen."Lucius spoke with a smile, but kept his eyes upon her as still she was interesting to him. He could see she too was delight by his presence, although respectful they acted toward each other. They both were important persons, which had the ability to change the future. Together a lot could be managed, as great influence they had on the people and the world.
Lucius who had gained more power since he became pro-consul was surely increasing by time that passed, already now the senate were worried about his plans. Specially as so many things had happened behind their back, which caused them to send spies to look after him. At least in Etrusca he was safe, as no one without permission were allowed to enter the land he owned. In south his step brother Marcus ruled over the Italic people, who also loved Lucius for his deeds.
As he and Octavia stood close, watching one another with curiosity and interest, a messenger entered with news. Quickly he walked up to Lucius and slapped himself on the chest with a fist before stretching the arm out, a normal salute toward any higher ranked man. "Dominus, your general has succeeded with taking over Veneti and Apulia. The land now belongs to you, and Rome"The messenger spoke with a proud voice, also glad about this news. When Lucius heard it, he was surprised but happy. Everything was going as planned, now the people would adore him even more. Slightly he nodded back in return and answered."Tell your general I am pleased and that I wishes him and the army to stay there until I come, meanwhile the men can watch out for trouble and bring peace to the new province." With that said, the messenger bowed with his fist on the chest and left.
"It seems like things are doing a lot better, as you might heard."Lucius spoke as he turned to face Octavia, who stood there more beautiful then ever. As the sun shined threw the open window, the color of her dress and skin showed far more then before. It was a great sight, but glad he was about the news he recently had got. Still his eyes followed hers, as more questions he wondered about.

Octavia nodded her head in thanks. She knew that if the time did come and the other Celtic tribes tried to attack her, she would have an ally in Rome that will help her. When a messenger ran in and up to Lucius, she crossed her arms and looked out the window. Although it seemed as though she was not listening, she really was. Apulia and Veneti? Octavia thought to herself. She knew that those two areas were close to Rome and thus it made sense for them to take them. Although it sounded that things went over rather peaceful, she still was not sure.
Octavia remained silent, even though the messenger already left. Her eyes went over the landscape as she thought in silence. She began to wonder about the child for a few moments, since Lucius seemed defensive about the subject when she asked what was wrong. "I would like to see the child sometime, if you would allow it of course?" Octavia asked. Octavia turned to look at Lucius again, her brown eyes going to his. "I am sure you know this, but once the Senate finds out about a child, they will try and kill it. I suggest that if the child is in any danger, to send a messenger to me and I will come here and take the child back to Celtiberia. Your child will be safer in my country and as far away from the senate as possible. Your new wife may also come to Celtiberia if they are in any danger. I will inform the chiefs of all the cities to not allow any Roman senate people into our nation." Octavia said as she looked at him.

"I thank you for your concern and I will keep that in mind, I`m glad to hear you are willing to take care of my wife and child if needed, it surely might become dangerous in these parts when the senate discovers my plan." Lucius spoke kindly as he smiled, but curious watched her. She was an elegant lady who truly knew what suited him best, whenever he needed someone she would be there. With a slight nod he ordered a servant to bring some wine for them to drink, so they together could celebrate the close friendship they had gained. Carefully Lucius eyes moved to look back at Octavia`s, who watched deep into her eyes with passion and care. The dress she had on truly pleased him, although he knew it was not right of him to think of other females when he already were married. However something special it was with the Celtibarian queen, even he did not know what it truly was.
"I hope you don't mind us taking a drink, to celebrate our strong union and friendship?"He asked, hoping she would accept the goblets with wine they soon were given as the servant returned. In respect the servant came and handed them both drinks on a plate, waiting for them to reach it. Lucius of course accepted and took the goblet, but did not drink before Octavia responded.

Octavia smiled when he thanked her. "The road you are going down will be rough. People you know will either be killed or captured. I will even be in danger, Lucius. I know that you don't want me to get harmed, but I have to stand by my ally during the worst of times. I will stay on your side, even if the senate may have the advantage. You will always have a friend over the seas." Octavia said to him. When the servant brought the tray with the goblet on it, she picked it up at the same time Lucius did.
Octavia held up her goblet, her eyes going to his. "To freedom and long life." Octavia said before she took a drink of her wine. It had been awhile since she has had a drink of wine. She was so busy with her armies and her people that she only drank water and other drinks. Perhaps the Gods had plans for her. It felt as though a celestial being was control her actions. Such as taking back her lands from the Carthaginians, which was near suicide. Also this alliance she had entered with Rome was changing her people and perhaps for the better. If the times are going to change, she will have to change with them.

Lucius surely was happy to hear Octavia would stand with him no matter what happened, having a friend like her would be useful in time to come. Not only was she helpful, but also attractive and interesting. With curious eyes who looked back into hers, he answered. "Yes, for freedom and a long life." As that was said, they both cheered with the goblets of wine they held. Careful and slow he drank, but gentle he placed the goblet away when he were finished. Still his gaze was fixed upon her, as if he was attracted by her presence. Something he was, but tried not to show.
"I am glad I have gained such a close friendship with the queen of Celtiberia, it truly could not been better. At least I now know you`ll stand with me, when I turn the face against the senate and their power."Lucius spoke with respect, glad she would help as needed it would be. Closer he approached, but kept some distance away as deep into her eyes he watched. A smile was seen upon his face, but shortly after he went to sit down, hoping she would follow. The thoughts he kept for her were confused, as much it was to think about. However with a calm mind, he did what he pleased.
