Predator's Gold by Philip Reeve. It's the second in the "Mortal Engines" series. They are very good books, I'm reading them for the third or fourth time...

His dark materials the series by Philip Paulman are the best books i have ever read. They include the Northern Lights, the Subtle Knife, and my personal favorite the Amber spyglass, i read it in one day.

His dark materials the series by Philip Paulman are the best books i have ever read. Ditto. But my favourite is the Subtle Knife... Or Northern Lights... Or The Amrber Spyglass... Argh! I can't decide, they're all so good! Oh, my dad's friend lives nextdoor to Philip Pullman, and they're very good friends.
