Catriona was cleaning out the stables for the Lords' horses working from early morning to late afternoon. It was a dirty job but she liked it. Despite her being royalty, she preferred this simpler life. She was the only daughter in her family, atleast as far as she knew and with being only 17, she was closest to the youngest son named Eadferth. Being raised with so many boys naturally made her tomboyish, and all her teachers got fed up teahing her womanly ways. She knew them all, she had payed attention, she just refused to do them.
Today she was in the stables feeding and grooming her own steed. It was a white mare and in Catriona's eyes, the most beautiful one ever.

Terion did not often travel to the celtic lands that ventured to the East, but he found himself and his small "army" in Germania with forty-eight men. Terion and his soldiers knew that they were in a Celtic village because of the tribal markings, the primitive buildings and the language. Terion and his men could speak the languages of any Celtic tribe, no matter the location. It was the Southern states that concerned him because he didn't know their languages. In any case, his men had been welcomed to the village because they were in fact Celtic. Terion found his way to the stable, leading his horse with him. There, he found Catriona in the stable. He didn't say anything at first but then turned to her, "Where shall i put my horse?" He asked, letting go of his horse's reigns. It wasn't going anywhere.

"Umm, I guess you can put it in," she looked around to see which stalls weren't being used and then she pointed to the one across from MĂșireann's. "For how long?" She asked him, "I'm not sure if you know but it costs to put your horse in the public stables, mind you, not much but I have to make my money some how," she smiled and then she grabbed some hay and started to feed all the horses in the stable. "You can groom your own horse or I can for an extra fee and I let out the horses in the early morning till it gets too hot unless otherwise stated by the owner," she told him s she took the bales of hay, feeding the horses and what not.

Terion heard her as she spoke about the price of keeping his horse in the stable. He didn't have all that much money, but Terion was willing to pay for it if he had to. "Well, i am a warrior, my men and I have come from the Gaels." Terion said calmly as he brought his horse over to one of the empty stalls. He turned back to Catriona. "We do not carry a lot of money on us and but four of us actually own horses." Terion said calmly as he took over the reigns of the horse and ran his hands over its head gently, "But i will pay you what i can." Terion said calmly.

She nodded, "The fee isn't much. It's a copper coin for two night," she told him. "Do I need to make room for three more then?" She asked him curiously as she handed grain to all the horses already in the stables. She was calmed and relaxed, unlike most women, she wasn't flighty or flirty, just-normal.

A copper coin wasn't bad for two nights in a stable. "Yes, three more should probably be prepared unless there is another stable for less." Terion said calmly as he rubbed his hand over the horse's mane and looked back at Catriona. He unlatched a leather pouch and looked into it to pay Catriona. "Here you are, this should pay for my men as well," Terion said as he handed her five copper coins. " He then turned back to his horse and walked towards it. He looked outside to the men that had gathered. Some of his men had gone to the pub. It was probably only a matter of time before someone came to talk to him about the men he had brought to the village.

Catriona nodded and had three more stables prepared. She walked the horses in and hung up their leads. Then she grabbed two other and walked them out to the fields. She smacked their rears and watched them take off, repeating this motion to all except her own and the new four. She took her own horse outside and tied her mare. Then she started grooming and washing her horse in the heat of the sun.

Terion watched Catriona, interested by her actions for a moment as she made room for the new horses. His men came into the stable with their horses no later than when she had dispersed the horses. Terion told them that he had already paid and they nodded their heads. Terion and his men were rough looking, as if they had been through quite a few battles and were raised by the roughness of nature. If you lived in Ireland, you sort were. Catriona probably wouldn't believe what they had crossed the English channel it. You couldn't call it a ship. In any case, Terion had gone to the Celtic tribes to gain support. Perhaps Catriona knew of where he could find this tribe's leader. "Does this tribe have a leader or master warrior?" Terion asked as he took a few steps away from his stallion.

Catriona nodded, "My brother, you can find him in the throne room. The building, after you walk out is to the right and it's big, one of a kind. You can't miss it," she told the men and then started to carry big pails of water for the horses. It was obvious she had done this for a while seeing as how she seemed to carry all the heavy objects with ease.

Terion nodded his head and went to the door of the stable and looked out to see if he could find the building that she had referred to. It didn't take him long because it was one of a kind and it was rather large. Terion then turned and walked back towards his men and spoke with them in his own language quickly and then turned back to Catriona. "He is your brother." Terion said calmly, just restating the fact, not asking, "Perhaps then you could take me to him. I have been desiring to speak with any war lord or chief of the Celts that would help me." Terion said, still not really stating what it was that he was doing. Catriona had not asked him, which was fine, if she didn't want to know he felt no inclination to explain it.

Catriona shrugged. She took her horse out and then turned her loose in the pasteur. Then she closed and locked the gate and walked out of the barn with the men. She then locked the gates to the bar and took them to the throne room. "What is your business here anyways? Most countries consider us barbarians, what exactly is your meaning?"

Terion smirked when she said that most countries considered her tribes to be barbarians. That was probably true, but then, he was also a barbarian tribe then. "Well, you seemed to welcome us rather warmly." Terion said calmly. He moved his hand into the leather pouch that hung loosely on his waist. He produced a small herb that he ate and shook his head for a moment, taking in a deep breath, "We fight the Romans." Terion said bluntly. "We have been fighting the Romans through the Northern hemisphere. We are from Ireland, yet there are a few Scots in our ranks as well. You know them when you see them, they were kilts." Terion said calmly.

"Oh, then no promises here considering a Roman came recently to him, probably seeking alliance but you may try if you wish," she told him and nodded to a guard who opened the throne room doors for them. (You can post in the throne room)

Eadfearth made his way to the stables, with a slight sense of urgency. Not that he had anything important to do, but for being a king he hated political business. On each of his sides, stood a guard. Obviously they were armed. The Barbarian King stopped walking halfway between the throne room and t he stables. He quickly glanced at one and then the other. "Yes?" One asked. "You two can leave now." "But sir-" He was cut off by the king. " I am going to go see my sister, believe me I doubt she will make an attempt on my life and even then I think I could handle myself." He said half joking, as he gestured his hand to the hilt of his sword. "As you wish." One grumbled in response. Eadfearth smiled as he left the two men behind, after a while they simply got annoying. The king gently pushed open the stable door, peeking his head in first. He abruptly stepped into the room looking for Catriona.

Terion was ready to follow Catriona to the hall of the King when he saw a man peer inside the stable, withdraw and then walk into the stale fully. The man and the woman had a slight resemblance of one another. However, Terion didn't know if this was the king that Catriona has spoken of. He did not have a bodyguard with him, nor did he carry any marks of a king, such as a crown. However, Terion found it unlikely that a king of Celts would wear a crown. One would consider that with the words "overkill" and "excentric" In any case, Terion took a step back. The man seemed to be looking for Catriona and if that was the case, Terion was not going to intrude unless beckoned to first. Terion moved his hands behind his back and stood tall behind the woman.
