Catriona was surprised to see her brother and she smiled. "Brother!" She smiled and and hugged him. "WHy are you here? I wasn't expecting you, oh this is master Terion," she told him gesturing to the man who seeked him. "He says he's here to talk about an alliance, to fight off the Romans. I know you have something against them but I wasn't sure what so I thought I'd let you talk with him," the girl said with a smile to her elder brother. Despite him being King, Catriona had always been very much a child, and she was very playful. She had grown up closest to him and so naturally, she loved being with him, and teasing him about his work, but in exchange, he was fairly protective of her, while picking on her all the same. It was safe to say their relationship was very close, and very strong.

Eadfearth smiled as his sister came up to hug him. He returned the hug, just trying to hurt her lightly for fun. The barbarian king then looked at Terion. Fight the Romans? He had just been offered an alliance and accepted it. The king reached out his hand for Terion to shake, he then spoke. " I am Eadfearth of Germania. Where do you hail from? " He kept his title nice, humble and short. "I will speak to you about this alliance.... And as well in helping you remove the Roman's from your land... But not by the use of arms." The large man frowned lightly. " I have arranged a meeting with their leaders..." He explained, Rome had no king.

"Hey!" She said feeling him trying to hurt her slightly, then she looked curiously at the two men. "Can we really trust Rome though brother? I hear they like to take small countries to add onto their empire," she told him. "What if they try to take us. Like it or not brother, you know their army is greater than ours," she pointed out.

Terion didn't like the idea of negotiating with the Romans. They didn't seem like the type of people that would want to come to an agreement by simply talking to one another. Terion didn't say anything of the matter instantly, and he answered the first question that was asked of him. "I hail from Ireland, off the coast of Briton." Terion said calmly, shaking the man's hand firmly. It was amazing what one person could learn from another's handshake. "A meeting you say?" Terion asked after a moment, the idea still nagging him. "I do not believe i can agree that is the best form of procedure in dealing withe Romans. My nobles tried the same." Terion concluded.

Eadfearth, listened to both the opinion of Terion and Catriona. He was deep in thought. " Which is why I accepted the alliance with them my sister." He pointed out. " I will buy the safety of the Celtic tribes. If I cannot, then the only choice we will have left is to unit the Celtic tribes, and take those who do not agree by force. The defense of my brother's tribes is more important to me than an alliance with the Romans. But by all means I will be very angry, if somebody tried to jeopardize my treaty with them.." He explained. "Never the less I have already agreed in visiting Rome, I will take men with me. I do not completely trust. No harm will come to me, I personally will assure that." He added the last part with a grin. Eadfearth had other business to attend to at the moment, and he most likely will not see Terion for a while. He planned to visit the Romans in the coming month. "Brother I agree to your alliance, As I take my leave try to bring the Celtic people under an agreement. If possible try to gather the tribe leaders all under one roof..."

Terion listened to Eadfearth and he nodded, at his proposal, "Fine then, you should go to Rome, find an agreement or whatever it is that you believe you can accomplish there. I am told the Slavs now have a leader among them and we should contact him." Terion said as he moved closer to the King and embraced him. "So then we should fight together in the end. I have found that Octavia, the ruler of the Celts in Celtiberia has already sided with the Romans. she is engaged with the Carthagians right now for control of her country. I have already spoken to her about allying, but she does not know what side to choose." Terion said calmly and then looked back at Catriona, "Is there a place to stay for the night here?" He asked.

Eadfearth embraced Terion as well and took a step back. " I agree, they could prove to be a valuable front if anyone dare invade from the east. There land is cold and nearly endless." He replied, it was common knowledge. Octavia is that not a woman's name? He kept the comment to himself. If a female actually ruled a Celtic tribe then the world was changing and rather quickly. " My gut tells me, she would chose her own kind over the Romans." It was what he would do, hopefully his gut was correct. Eadfearth began to stroke his chin lightly. " I believe I shall visit the Slavs, before the Romans. I'd liked to bring up the situation in Thrace. But for now I must leave." He then left without a formal goodbye. Eadfearth for one did not see the point of being to well mannered.

____________________ After the conversation with Proximo, Catriona came here. How strange a man he was but he said some interesting things for sure. She then went to her horse and smiled. "Hey girl, something interesting happened to me today." The horse whinned and stopped as if asking her what that was. "Well, a man named Proximo, a Roman no less, told me I should love. I think he likes me, what tdo you think?' She asked. The horse shook his head and laughed. "So what do I do?" The horse stomped her foot but even so, Catriona wasn't sure what she meant by that. It was the first time she didn't.

(Hope its alright about be joining this thread?)
After a short moment of sleep, Proximo woke up. As he had promised himself to go and look for the woman he earlier had talked to, he quickly got ready and left to see her. It had not been more then 2 hours since they last talked, the sun already was going down but still possible it was to see. Whoever he asked for direction, they all pointed the same way. Inside the stables she had gone and with the sight of her in distance, he smiled. She was a kind woman, which he saw easily in the way she treated the horse she owned. Carefully he approached, speaking out loud."Hello."He simply said, waiting for her to reply.

"Oh, hello my lord, do you need something?" She asked him curiously. Her horse snorted and she laughed. "Yes he's the one I spoke of silly. The horse nudged her lightly and she smiled. "Sorry about her, she was just curious to know who you were. We talk alot, she's a good friend of mine," Catriona told Proximo as she gave some cubes to occupy her horse so she would stop trying to push Cat closer to him.

Proximo smiled in return as she discovered him, but got curious when he heard she and the horse had spoken of him. Still like before she looked beautiful, nothing had changed. He truly loved the sight of her, which probably was the reason to why he came to speak."You`ve been talking about me? Well I just wanted to see how you were doing, it got lonely after you left."He answered, glad to look at her again as much he had missed her. However he knew the risks of what he did, although his feelings kept growing stronger in her presence. Never before had he met anyone like her, which was so different then any other woman he had seen. She was strong, wise and interesting. That made him curious and interested, he just hoped she as well felt something for him. The horse at least seemed to want her closer to him by some reason, thought he was not sure why.

"Oh I see. I'm afraid there isn't much to my home, not compared to what I've heard about Rome. However, I'm happy here, right girl?" The horse whinnied and nodded and she laughed. "Tell me my lord, what is your Rome like? I've heard tales and I've heard the clothing and jewelry is unlike any other. I also hear your fabric includes beautifull colors, something not so easy to find with our lack of flowers and berries." She said this to him then looked over, "Oh pardon me, please, sit," she gestured to a hay bail as she started getting all the horses in the stable their hay.

In the moment she spoke to him it all felt amazing, but gladly he accepted the place she offered him to sit. She truly was a great woman, who he admired quite a lot even a different culture she had. The Germanians was an interesting people, specially in the way they dressed and lived. Catriona had an nice style he believed, specially by the cloths she on wore, which was both smooth and teasing. In return to her question, he looked at her with a smile as he sat down but answered."Rome indeed is exactly what you have heard, our lifestyle is quite different then yours I have seen. We live inside large houses made of stone, including a pool if we wish to bath. On the market you can find a lot of cloths in many different fabrics from all over the world, even great jewelry that is often given to ladies from men that admire them."

"Oh is that so?" She asked with a raised brow, "What kind of things do men give?"She asked him with a little smile. She knew he would probably have to return to Rome soon but they could still write. He was interesting and fun to talk to. He thought of things to talk about outside of war and marrying her. She thought it was a good break. Luckily she'd be visiting Rome herself one day, whenever her brother left anyways. He could show her around then if he wasn't busy considering her brother would be otherwise occupied.

Slightly Proximo smiled and looked down for a moment as she asked what men normally gave in gift, he thought it was interesting that she would ask that question but in return he answered, as his gaze turned back on her."Well that depends on how much the man appreciate the person he wishes to give a gift too, it can be from a normal ring to a ring with precious diamonds. Although I believe any man would had liked to given you something nice, if ever the opportunity was able."He said, looking at her deep into the eyes as he greatly wished to give her something. Even impossible that was as far from home he now were, but if they ever would meet again then he surely could promise a surprise would be given her.
