Ambrose, even as the King of the Neutral States continued to walk his land like he had done before he had been made king. His origins were simple. He was the son of a horse farmer and he had done the same, until, by shear luck he was chosen to rule the great lands that made up the Neutral States. Ambrose often took these walks alone, either that or with his wife and daughter. This day however, as the sun sinking in the sky, Ambrose was by himself. He desired the walk by himself today and therefore he had done so. He walked amidst the fields until his entrance into a small town that was near the sea. He knew many people and often did not carry weapons, only a short sword and walking stick. His clothes were plain, for it was not his desire to look better than all those around him.

Like many times before, Sienna was the one to do the long journeys and travel since her father was a poor shepherd. She never complained thought since she liked the life she had and would hate it if she was of royal blood and was forced to act like she truly wasn't. And for a reason she enjoyed travelling since she was not stuck at home all day long, if one considers the life normal women, even royals had.
But for a reason her journey was not a pleasant one this time and her ship experienced shipwreck in the middle of a tempest, right before they arrived to the island of Crete. Sienna, luckily was one of the few to survive and did her best to arrive to the shore. Though she did not know where it was she had landed to. She then struggled to reach the safe shores where no wave would take her back to her doom and fainted. the effort to survive had taken the best out of her and she then remained motionless on the shores of the island of Crete, though she did not know that...she was indeed lucky.

As Ambrose strolled through the small town, he climbed the small grassy hillside that overlooked the sea. It took him mere moments before he reached the peak and looked out over the ocean. As he did so his eyes spotted some destroyed pieces of a ship. His eyes followed this towards the shore. Sure enough, on the sandy beach was a figure. He could not make out who, whether a man or woman, friend or foe, animal or even a human but he knew that it was not board nor a piece of debri that had washed ashore. Ambrose, instantly began to head down the hillside. He rested his hand on his sword hilt as he strolled down the hill at a rather quick speed in case the person, or creature was in need of assistance of any kind..

It was obvious that Sienna had been through a tempest for the simple fact that once she arrived to the shores she instantly fell on the wet sand and forgot everything concerning her whereabouts, who could find her and a way to go back to her homeland. Normally she would not go back until she did as commanded, but never had she faced such a situation. For a moment she seemed to regain consciousness and moved one arm weakly but instantly she fainted again falling into darkness and confusion. there was only to be hoped she was in Greek territory...and a friendly one...

Ambrose scurried down the hill as fast as he could go as he slid a little ways so that his progress would be sped up. Finally, he noticed that, in fact, it was not a man, or a beast, but something entirely different that had washed up on his shore. It was a woman. This, as you can imagine was rather a surprise to Ambrose as he approached her with great mystery and caution. It was said that the god's took the form of beautiful women to lay with men and then thus birth children and such and Ambrose was more than aware of such stories, however, skeptic he might have been of them. He knelt down beside him and hesitated to touch her. Finally, after a moment he touch her arm. " Miss..are you alright? " He asked

In between dreams and nightmares she seemed to hear a voice, but she could utter no word at all. As she tried to come back and wake up she tried to move her arms and say something but all she could do was weakly move an arm and let out sounds that made no sense at all. It seemed she needed help or perhaps being taken care of or attended by a physician. It had been a tempest she had never experienced before, but she was a strong woman since she had fought against the ocean waters like Ulysses once did.

Ambrose could obviously see that this woman was in no condition to speak or possibly even move by herself. He looked up and saw more men coming down the hill, after seeing him do so. In a few moments they were upon him and he spoke with them. " One of you, run back up to the town and fetch some water. Another, fetch something in which we can move her with, without harming her. " He said as he knelt back down beside the woman and rolled her over onto her back, looking down at her face as he ran his hand over her cheek looking for a sign that she was only tired and no seriously injured, which is what he feared. In mere moments the man with the water returned and Ambrose took a cub and offered it to the woman to drink, tilting her head upwards a bit to aid in her survival.
