Octavia stayed on her horse as she saw elephants charging at them. This was something she had not expected, but she would try to make the use of the situation. "Charge the elephants! Take them head on!" Octavia yelled as her cavalry, although hesitant, charged at the elephants. The archers also changed their target, now aiming at the elephants. When the cavalry hit the elephants, some of the cavalry was easily taken out by the elephants, but Octavia's cavalry had something the elephants didn't. Speed. Her cavalry turned around and began to run back towards her lines, wanting to lure the elephants into a trap.
Octavia looked back at her lines and saw the arrows hitting her men. 55,000 of her men were killed by the arrows before they raised their shields. Octavia turned the cavalry back around and charge the elephants again. Octavia was losing her cavalry and fast. She knew something had to be done. They were outnumbered now and she only hoped that the Romans would show up. Her foot soldiers in the front two lines lowered their spears and the rest of the men pulled out their swords, ready for a fight. Her archers continued to fire at the elephants, this time lighting the arrows on fire, in an attempt to frighten the elephants and make them run amok.

As the enemy now instead decided to face to 10 000 Elephants that attacked their flanks, the Carthage General ordered his archers to keep shooting at the Celtiberian infantry. To weaken them they were ordered to fire at will, shooting 70 000 arrows after another 70 000 arrows. However as that happened, the swordsmen that carried shields, protected them in case anyone decided to engage. The whole spear men infantry that had gone against the enemy, was now totally destroyed by the arrows that had rained upon them. However the Celts were losing more men faster then the Carthaginian, specially by tactic that was used and by the great strength of Carthage.
When the Elephants with one spear men rider crashed into the large Celtic cavalry, losses were taken on both sides. Total chaos broke out between them all, although more problem the horses and their riders had to handle the situation then the Elephants. With large feet and heavy body they smashed the enemy to the ground, even the foe was faster. As the cavalry retreated to regroup, the elephants headed on. Suddenly in surprise the enemy archers shot arrows with fire, which took hit and made the elephants scared. Those still able kept on moving as in lines of thousand they came, those unable either fell to death or was controlled in rage against the direction of the enemy. The Celts who fired at the same time they engaged, also hit their own by the rain of arrows that took hit. At the same time it caused the animals to run amok, causing more damage then any of them fell dead.
Hanagol Barca who lead the attack watched from distance, thinking what to do as a lot happened in front. He knew that if the Elephants died completely, there would be little chance in succeeding. However by the look of it, he could see the enemy shrinking in numbers. Probably they now had lost 15 000 of their cavalry and even more of their infantry, while 5000-7000 Carthaginian Elephants had died under the heavy attacks. Soon the enemy would be surrounded by them and unable to retreat, closer and closer the massive animals went on and destroyed everything they saw. 70 000 more arrows was fired at the enemy, before the General ordered 40 000 sword men to move forward to engage while the rest stayed behind and waited. Hopefully the Celts would now be to minimal to resist any more much of an attack, even great losses Carthage as well had taken. The day had grown late, but still a long journey the reinforcement had to arrive.

Octavia watched as her soldiers continued to get killed. She knew that this battle was going to be hopeless, considering she only came with 300,000 soldiers and since the Gaels left, she was outnumbered and outskilled. How could she have expected to even win? Octavia knew that the day was drawing to a close, perhaps it would be a good time to declare a ceasefire and rest for the night. She turned to see that he had sent 40,000 swords men into her lines. Her troops moved to engage them, making sure they wouldn't get threw their lines.
Meanwhile, a soldier began to wave a flag, trying to declare a ceasefire for the day. Octavia only hoped that the other general would accept. It would be benficial to them both, but evne more so for her. Her ships along with the Romans couldn't be very far away and if they wait for the night, there just might be a chance that they would arrive. Octavia's eyes went to Carthage's lines as she waited for a response.

The general who followed everything that happened from the distance could now see the Celts almost giving up, the victory belonged to Carthage and it was little the attackers could do to win the battle. Still the remaining Elephants attacked the flanks of the enemy, while the 40 000 sword men with shield started to engage the force that was sent against them. The archers who were left behind along the other group of soldiers kept on shooting, until no necessary arrow were needed to be fired. The white flag the Celtibarians decided to wave with was quickly seen during the heat of battle, although no effect it had. Hannagol Barca would not show these any mercy for what they had done, as they had invaded the country by a sudden attack and killed the first messenger who came to speak. The Celts would all die or be taken slaves, none would be given the right to live as they once had.
Since the victory was now withing the reach, the general gave the last orders. Destroy their army, capture their queen. With a single wave with the sword above his head, he and the rest of the remaining soldiers charged on along the rest of the remaining forces that surrounded the enemy. Behind, the archers stood quiet and waited for the victory come. Hopefully no more bad would happen, as everything would soon end.

Octavia watched as her soldiers were cut down by the arrows and the Carthage soldiers. Octavia was yelling out orders when her horse was hit in the neck with an arrow, bucking her off. Octavia hit the ground, stunned for a few moments at what had just happened. She pulled herself together and stood up, her vision going in and out for a few moments. She looked back to where her men were fighting the Carthaginians and she began to run towards them. She pulled out her sword and she picked up another sword that was in the hands of one of her dead soldiers.
Octavia watched as a Carthaginian ran towards her. She got into a low stance as he ran towards her, getting ready to engage him. When he was close enough she lunged at him with the sword in her right hand, which he blocked with his shield. But, she swung the sword in her left hand, slicing his head off. She charged in with some of her soldiers as she began to fight with her men. She watched as her soldiers were being killed or trying to run. "Come back, cowards!" She yelled as two of her soldiers that were at her side ran away. She let out a yell before she continued to attack the Carthaginians.
After what seemed like hours, but was only a matter of minutes, she swung the sword in her left hand at a soldier and when it hit the metal part of his shield, it bounced off and the soldier knocked the sword out of her hand. Octavia turned around to run, but she was already surrounded by ten Carthaginians. Since they were not killing her, she assumed that they were only going to capture her. The Queen took her left hand and pulled off her helmet, letting her long black hair fall down past her shoulders. She dropped her helmet to the ground, along with her sword. She glanced to behind her, seeing some of her troops fleeing while others fought to the death. She turned her head to look at the soldiers in front of her. "Well, I am assuming that you are going to capture me, otherwise you would have taken my head moments ago." Octavia said as she glared at the soldiers.

Hanagol Barca was pleased when he saw the enemy flee from the battlefield and died in fear on the battlefield, right in the middle of it all he could see the queen took stand, waiting for what to happen as she were surrounded by the many survives who she had fought against. With careful moves, the general stepped closer as he rode upon his horse threw the crowd of warriors. He could see quickly the queen of the Celts was disappointed, although nothing else she now were able to do. The enemy who fled was fast hunted down like scared dogs and killed by the Elephant cavalry that still lived, none would return home."You are ours now my lady, brave you have fought but still defeated by our skills. Welcome to new Carthage."He said with a smile as he leaned a bit forward on the horse, but quickly nodded to the soldiers next by. Telling them she was to be taken back to the fortress, where she would stay in captivity and please the men who wanted her. As soon that was said, to men approached to grab her. Still as she was the queen, she were to be threated with respect. Soon the rest of the Carthage army would arrive, along with the king who did not know anything what glorious victory his men had achieved.
The men who survived watched what happened to the woman, but had orders to clear the battlefield as many dead corpses laid around. Within a few minutes, Octavia was the only Celt left. She was a tempting woman who many wanted to be close, specially Hanagol who believed he could have fun with her before the king arrived, although risky it was. While the two soldiers ordered the queen to follow Hanagol who in front rode on horse, the rest made counts of how heavily the losses had been.

Octavia's eyes flashed dangerously towards the general. She listened to what he said and she laughed. "Skill? Don't flatter yourself. There was no skill in that battle, fool. You had numbers on your side, unless all of you Carthaginians are too stupid enough to count." Octavia said as one of the soldiers aparantly didn't take well to the insult and went to punch her. She dodge the move and rolled behind him, grabbing both sides of his head and snapping his neck, killing him. Octavia smirked and spit on his body, her eyes going to the soldiers around her.
When the two soldiers ordered her to follow the general, she glared at them before walking after the general. "I suggest that you or your men not to touch me, unless they want to loose the thing that makes them a man." Octavia warned as she glared at the two guards next to her before she looked at the general.

As the general had started to ride home, he could hear everything what happened in the distance behind him. What she said was insulting, but he did not care even others did. When someone tried to punch her after the things she said, he quickly got killed. Gentle Hanagol Barca turned around to watch, seeing the dead man on the ground as also he saw how brutal Octavia could be. After she spoke finished, he answered with a serious tone in his voice."Do not forget you outnumbered us, perhaps it is rather you who have problems counting. You`ll come with us, even you want it or not. As I said, you are ours now and we`ll do exactly what we please with you."He said with a deep glare to where she stood, she was a rough woman who at least had been in battle many times before.
At least the victory had gone to Carthage, now Celtibaria was up for taking as not many probably defended it. Quickly Hanagol ordered a few spies and scouts to be sent out, to see if any other enemy were approaching. It was a great day for the men who won, back in the fortress they would celebrate with ale and women as many of them have had an exhausting day. The enemies who had fled the battlefield were all killed, the corpses that were found was dumped on a hill of dead people as their own where taken back home. Weapons and other equipments that could be used again, where taken to the armory. Many of the wounded rested in the camp not far away, being taken care of by all the expert healers.
When the general were finished, he turned again and went in the direction home. The soldiers who kept some distance away Octavia were ready to stab her with the spear if she ever would try something else again, she was strong but outmatched. Soon she would bow before them, begging to let her go, although the fate she would meet would be worse then she could imagen. If Celtibaria were undefended, they easily could enter and take whatever they wanted. However they were not barbarians but civilized men, in respect they would not go further for now and rather wait for orders from the king.

Octavia glared at him when he said that she had problems counting. We'll see, won't we... Octavia thought. How she would love the chance to kill him when the Romans and the rest of her soldiers arrived. She knew that she would have to last the night and she would make sure that no Carthaginian swine touched her. She almost wished that her soldiers could show up soon, but she knew that was impossible. She let out a sigh as she followed them, her hair moving in the breeze. At least they were not trying anything at the moment, except having their spears pointed at her. She would rather have that then the other option.
Octavia smirked when she looked at the guards, who kept their distance from her. "I would like to see you try. Of course, you will just have your neck broken just like his. Such a pity." Octavia said as she looked at the guards around her. "What's wrong? Afraid I may snap your necks as well?" Octavia asked, laughing. "Don't answer that, I already know." Octavia said as she continued to follow the general. She had a nasty surprise in store if he tried to take advantage of her, but she would not use it until she saw that it was the right moment.

As the Celtibarian queen spoke with anger in her voice, he listened but said nothing in return. It was a long journey from the battlefield to the fortress, however within some hours they would arrive. When everything was cleaned up and counts had been made, the surviving army followed. Dark the night had become, but still visible it was for them to see. The sound of thousands could be heard as they marched through the land, although the men who kept the Celtic queen in prison stood some distance away while their spears was pointed directly at her. In the fortress, counts of the battle would be told as rest they then would get for the night. A feast would also be held, in celebration for the great victory they had achieved.
After few hours, they arrived. With torches lit on fire, it clearly showed the beauty of the fortress at night. It was built upon a hill, with two stone walls around it. The first was the largest as on the ground it stood placed, the second wall were half the hight but carved into the mountain. On top of the peak of the hill was the palace, the house were nobles lived and planned for war. In case an attack would happen, they always would have a plan.

Octavia looked at the fortress that they were coming up to and she decided that it was time for her plan to be put into action. "This seems like a well defended fortress." Octavia said as she looked up at the palace. It would be a perfect target for the catapults to fire at, since it was an easy target. "Since I am a Queen, will I be getting a room? Since that is a way to show respect, even if to your enemies." Octavia said as she looked at the general. Hopefully he would accept, since she did not want to spend a night in the prison.
Octavia's goal here was to keep her enemies close. She would somehow have to help her people and her allies when they attack. She would have to escape and then somehow get the gates open and keep them that way. It was a risky plan, but she was sure that the Carthaginians would be celebrating so much that they would pass out from either being drunk or just plan tired. "Would it be to much for me to ask for a bath and new clothes?" Octavia asked as she looked at the general, a sincere look in her eyes.

As they came to the palace, they stopped and dismounted the horses. Slowly and gentle they all stepped inside, although the guards still surrounded the Celtic Queen. When she spoke and got the attention from the general, he curiously looked back into her eyes. Was she joking with him, even she was a princess under captivity he would not give her things she was used to at home. Mostly it was up to the king to decide, although he was not there in their moment of victory. After a few looks upon the beauty of Octavia, he finally figured what to answer and what to do. "Since I am an honorable man who shows my enemies respect in times needed, I am willing to give what you ask. However my guards will watch you over you strictly, you wont be able to escape so easily if thats what you think."The spoke out seriously, not wanting to give her any hope even a room for royals she was given.
After that was said, he quickly turned to one of his captains and ordered what to do. 100 guards would be surrounded the room Octavia would have during her captivity, as well every city gate would be closed most of the time. Only those with permission were allowed to enter, on the walls it always would be soldiers watching. In case trouble of trouble, news would be given. Soon as those orders was given, the captain went of to tell while the general nodded to one of the guards beside the Celtic woman. It was a sign that those who kept their spears upon her, were to take her in. At the moment she was pushed inside by many weapons and threats, the general himself took a short moment to breath in the air outside. As he looked up, he could see an eagle flying above. The sky as well became clouded, which soon enough would lead to rain and perhaps thunder. Was the gods watching over her, or was they watching over them.

Octavia smiled when she heard what the general said to her. "Thank you." Octavia said. Fool. She thought in her head as she was pushed into the palace. Although he did try to crush her dreams of escaping, it failed. She was a survivor and she was not going to listen to the word of a Carthaginian. At the moment, all things were going as planned.
When she was pushed into the room, the door locking behind her. She walked over to the window, looking out it and up into the sky. She saw that storm clouds were gathering and she dropped to her knees, closing her eyes. She prayed to the gods that the thunder would be loud enough, for she would need it to be loud for her plan to work. Octavia stood back up and took a bath and put on fresh clothes. Octavia went and sat on the bed and began to think about the battle. But, her thoughts were lost when there was a flash of lightening and then a crash of thunder. Excellent. Octavia thought as she went to the door, knocking on it. "One of you can take the bath water out now." Octavia said threw the door and to the guards outside.

When Octavia was locked inside and guards was set to watch her, the general himself who had seen the storm clouds coming went inside. Everywhere he went he could see people happy about the victory they had achieved, preparing a feast in honor to their realm and their might. Silent and gentle Hanagol went threw the halls of the palace, bowing his head slightly to everyone that greeted him. It would not be long before Celtiberia fell under the empire of Carthage, which surely would largen their power. However still there was a people to defeat, some who could seek revenge and rescue their queen. Even a feast was to be held, the land would be secure. Every now and then there were warriors who would watch in turn, making everything safe in case an invasion was to appear. Rumors told that a fleet from Rome was advancing, but still things was uncertain. It would not be long before some more hundred thousand men from Carthage would come, then together they would destroy the remaining Celtibarians.
As time passed, the feast was soon ready to start. The general who had traveled around, speaking with others that had meet him sonly came to sit upon his chair, watching whatever happened around. Although unknown in what Octavia was planning in her own prison chamber, when she asked for someone to take out the water it quickly was done. The one of the many guards who guarded her entered, but careful acted. As he picked up the water and were about to leave, his eyes followed whatever Octavia did. Then suddenly another servant entered, telling she had to prepare as she were invited to join the celebration of her own defeat.

Octavia watched as the guard walked into her room and began to take the bath water. She enjoyed the fact that he was cautious of what she might do. When he left and the servant walked in, telling her that she was invited to the celebration of her defeat, she sighed. "No, I am tired and I would like to sleep." Octavia said, even though it sounded more like an order for her to come eat, she would not let him have the satisfaction. Once the servant left, the door was once again closed and locked.
Another flash of lightning and a bang of thunder that shook the building. She smirked. It was time for her plan to be put into action. Octavia moved around the room quickly, putting the chair against the door, so that it wouldn't open. She began to tie knots in the bed spread, making a make shift rope that she would use to get out of her room. She set it next to the window and she grabbed a candle, setting it on her bed. Everything was ready, now all she needed was another crack of thunder.
The moment she saw lightning, she waited for the crack of thunder and when she heard it, she elbowed the window as hard as she could shattering the glass. She tied the rope to the bed post and she threw it out the window. She quickly kicked the candle, which landed sideways on the bed. The bed spread began to catch on fire. She would only have moments to scale the building and touch the ground. She grabbed onto the makeshift rope and she began to climb down the building. After a few moments, her feet touched the ground. She pressed herself against the wall and began to move around the palace, being careful to stay in the shadows.
But, she soon was caught by a guard and when he ran over to her, she kicked him in the face and when he stumbled to the ground, she choked him to death. Once he was dead, she dragged him into the shadows and she switched clothes with him, putting on his armor and making him wear the dress she was wearing. When she put the helmet on and picked up his sword and shield, she began to walk to the gate. To anyone who didn't look close enough, she looked like a normal guard.
((I hope this is okay. I wanted to add some excitment!))
