400,000 Cavalry Archers armed with either normal or flaming arrows and short swords in case of close combat.
The Slavic people are not assigned to particular areas of combat like in Roman and Greek armies, instead they get to choose their manner of combat.
The Slavic lands are almost useless for agriculture, and thus the Slavic people live on herding livestock. As such they spend much of their lives on horseback and are therefore highly skilled at riding. Because of this, they always fight mounted, where they have the advantages of speed and height. They are also skilled hunters and as such every one of them is able to fire a bow and those that voluntarily do so in combat are generally more skilled than the average men. The Slavic army is incredibly mobile as they do not have to carry supplies with them - their food is their livestock and so their food can carry their other baggage for them, giving the Slavic army not only the advantage of speed in battle, but the advantage of speed in military manoeuvers.
