Terion had just been proclaimed ruler of Ireland. Terion didn’t understand how or why and honestly didn’t care because this gave him a chance to unite all of Ireland and the millions that populated it and go to war with the Romans and show them once and for all, that the Irish and any Celtic tribe for that matter, would not be dominated by any power beyond their own. The army of Ireland consisted of over a million men and they had been inactive due to the prior Irish lord. Terion was going to put them back into service. Terion already had the alliance of the Britons to the East and they would help protect his island and keep it safe while he invaded lower Europe. Terion was going to take this chance for one reason. Europe was in turmoil. No matter who looked at it, the entire European and Southern States were undergoing war in one form or another. Persia and Egypt fought one another. Carthage attacked Rome and possibly a Celtic Land. The Etruscan empire had fallen, the Romans were advancing in Eastern and Northern Europe and the Celts were doing nothing. If they were going to sit back and watch all of this, the Celts would be readily and very quickly eliminated from the equation of European power and Terion wanted to make sure that Ireland was safe and secure a realm for it. An island was a good buffer, but area around Ireland to prevent the launch of ships directly towards Ireland was needed. So, with an army of a million men, leaving several hundred thousand to protect his own shores, Terion created war vessels and sailed towards the Gauls. Terion would not receive a lot of hostility from them because they were neighbors and were trading nations. From there they would journey southward towards the Alps and secure the Romans into Italy until they came out to fight, which would be interesting to see the outcome of. That was the plan and it was being executed, another step being taken each day that passed.
