Cat was sitting at the table. She had finished her food and now she was looking out the window. The sun shined only for a moment before the clouds covered it once more, and then it began to rain again. "A bad omen," she said softly, her fingers pressing gently against the window. Her eyes were fixated on the direction from which she came. She felt so far from home and although she was happy to be here, a part of her still missed home, and she even missed her friend, even if they had parted on bad terms, or so it seemed.

As Thorkil went further, he finally got eye on Catriona who sat at the table. She looked beautiful, even early on the morning it was. With a smile he approached, glad to see her again. At least she had not ran away after their first night together, even he knew she wouldn't as in love both of them were in each other."Good morning."He said with a smile, but gave her a kiss before he sat down next to her. Outside it had started to rain again, something which was not good as they were to pack and leave. Hopefully the rain would stop, so they peacefully could travel at sea.

Catriona turned, startled but smiled and relaxed seeing it was only him, "Good morning, sleep well?" She asked him curiously, "I heard the rain and it woke me up. I find it very refreshing when it rains," she said with a smile, "Please my lord, sit," she added, her hand gesturing to the seat in front of her.

Thorkil smiled in return as she noticed and spoke to him, however with a look of kindness he sat down where she gestured him."I slept well, thank you. "He said kindly, glad to see his wife again. As he woke up he had been worried she had ran away, but when he found her again he got relieved. She was lovely and to be married with the princess of Germania surely gave advantages as also a better view on life, she gave him hope and something to live for. "The rain surely is refreshing, but often makes the air cold. What about you, did you sleep well?"Thorkil asked curious, although knew she probably slept well after the great fun they had shared together before their sleep.

"Yes, I slept fine, as to the rain, I don't know. I find it to be very refreshing. It can wash away the evidence of something bad leaving room for something new," she said smiling her eyes going from the rain back to him. "But I don't recommend leaving until the storms have passed. Germania is dangerous enough without this weather and you and I would forge a great bounty for bandits," she advised.

"Your right, Germania is a dangerous place, on both sea and land. However we will leave, as soon the storm has passed."Thorkil answered kindly as he kept looking at her, still beautiful he believed she was even early on the morning it were. With a short glance out of the window, he saw it kept on raining but hoped it soon would stop. He wondered however if she truly wanted to go with him, as far away the new home would be.

"I'll go check the horses," she then said and stood up and taking her plate to the kitchen, "You should eat my lord, breakfast is very important," she reminded him. Then she walked out of the room. She wasn't avoiding him or anything, she just needed to walk a bit, to relax. It had been a long journey and already he wished to move, why did they not go there in the first place? She wondered but she didn't question it.

Thorkil nodded and smiled to his wife as she stood up and went to check the horses, while he himself stayed to eat. She was lovely in every way, which made him feel wonderful inside as never had he experienced anything like it before. Curiously he watched Catriona walk out of the room, thinking the way she moved was both elegant and enchanting. After she left he ate finish the breakfast, but left to look for his wife. A lot was needed to be done, as soon they both would leave to another country where he had stationed a new colony. Quickly he took the chance to speak with the captains, telling them they should prepare the ship as well to make everything ready for them to travel. Still it rained, which made it impossible for them to leave.

Cat was drenched just from the walk from the home to the stables but she didn't mind. She let the the stable boy go home and handed him some money so he wouldn't fret. She then took up his duties. This made her feel more at home and eased her mind. Being around horses was natural for her and something she loved.

As Thorkil finally arrived the stables, he could see Catriona talking to a stable boy. It made him smile, cause it reminded him on how caring she was toward others as well how much she loved horses. Kindly and proud he approached, suddenly embracing her with a laugh as he lifted her up and kissed her passionately."Missed me?"He spoke smiling, letting her down as close he held around her. Glad that they together soon would travel and settle a new home, far away from everything else.

She smiled and then kissed him back. "Well, just a little," she teased. Then she watched her horse and smiled but noticed something. She didn't act like she did with Proximo, it was strange. "I know this might sound strange, but would you mind if I wrote a letter to Rome. I have a friend there i would like to talk to. I thought I might just send a letter, and I promise I'm not betraying you," she told him. Many people despised the Romans and their greed for power, even she did not trust their people, but she did trust one man.
