 Macedonian Civil Revolt
« Thread Started on May 25, 2008, 9:16pm »

Olympia sat in the throne-room of the palace in Thessalonica. The civil revolt in Macedonian had begun and all of the Spartans were either forced out of the country or killed. All of the Spartan aristocrats homes were set on fire. Macedonian soldiers marched threw the streets, either escorting the loyalists to the Spartans out of the city or making sure that the revolt does not get to out of hand. So far, the Spartans were not fighting back or did they send their army. It was probably because it was a surprise to them, but she would never know.

Olympia stood up from her throne and she walked over to the balcony, moving the curtains aside as she walked out on it. She looked out over the city as some of the aristocrats buildings burned. The banner of the Spartans that was hanging in front of the palace as torn to the ground and the Macedonian banner took its place. The people who tore it down began to burn the Spartan banner. Olympia smiled as she walked back into the palace, knowing that her nation would soon be free.
